TEAFS Givors: Biodiversity at the Heart of Commitment

TEAFS Givors maintains an ongoing collaboration with MNLE 69 – the National Movement for Environmental Action, a national association within the Humanity et Nature network. This partnership strengthens the collective drive to make biodiversity protection a central concern of the site.

The preservation of living things is rooted in a strategic vision. Following careful inventories of local fauna and flora, TEAFS Givors has developed a structured action plan that guides every nature-related initiative. This participative approach engages all employees in building a sustainable regional project.

On site, awareness is fostered through interactive workshops such as Biodiversity Frescoes and bat observation sessions. These opportunities allow everyone to get involved in a practical way, encouraging curiosity and fostering a shared culture of environmental commitment. 

The installation of beehives on 15 April 2025 reflects TEAFS Givors’ s determination to support pollinators essential for ecosystem balance. Regular briefings, guided tours and insights into the workings of the colony set the pace for the project. The first honey harvest, celebrated on 29 July 2025, was a unifying milestone that further strengthened team cohesion. 

The commitment doesn’t end there: TEAFS Givors aims to further engage its collective around projects such as creating ecological corridors and installing shelters for pollinating insects. The considered choice of tree species and sustainable maintenance of green spaces demonstrate a consistent desire to innovate in support of nature.
