A laboratory powering our industrial site:

At TotalEnergies Additives and Fuels Solutions, our control and development laboratory is central to our industrial site. It plays a crucial role in achieving our innovation and quality objectives, while guaranteeing compliance with product specifications and supporting efforts to develop new solutions.

Its activities

Product/raw materials performance control

Our laboratory is staffed by a team of around 10 qualified technicians who are responsible for controlling and analyzing the entire industrial chain, from raw materials to finished products, with the aim of guaranteeing reliable and conforming products.

Development and innovation

The second, but mission-critical aspect of the laboratory’s activity is delivering support to the additive and fuel experts, and also the field experts. The laboratory team carries out physical, chemical and analytical tests, as well as experimental tests. As such, the laboratory drives product development and innovation.

Guaranteed safety: keeping our team safe is one of our top priorities, and our laboratory is equipped with the latest high-performance protective equipment and safety systems to ensure safe working conditions for all our employees.
Regular quality control: TEAFS performs quality control processes on all the products entering and leaving the site in strict compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. This represents over 10,000 samples/year and over 15,000 tests/year. In an effort to enhance customer satisfaction, an analysis certificate is issued to each customer.

Track experts:

At TotalEnergies Additives and Fuels Solutions, trackside coordinators carry out product tests directly on site to guarantee the quality of our products and ensure that they are aligned with our customers’ needs and constraints.

We are actively involved in several endurance championships as the sole official fuel supplier, including WEC, ELMS, ALMS, GTWC EU, GT4 EU, GT2 EU, FFSA GT4, GTWC Asia and others. Endurance racing represents 40 events every year, plus the ETRC, MOTOGP, WSBK, EWC Moto, F2 and F3, as well as various private tests.
