MotoGP: Elite Motorcycle Racing and TotalEnergies Innovation

The MotoGP category stands as the pinnacle of motorcycle racing, assembling the world's top riders on state-of-the-art prototype bikes. In this arena, research and development are crucial, as our teams actively push the boundaries of innovation.

The MotoGP World Championship unfolds over 21 Grand Prix events with 1,000 cm³ prototypes. These powerful 240-hp, 158-kg machines can soar to speeds nearing 220 mph (350 km/h). Riders are restricted to just seven engines throughout the season, with each bike holding a maximum of 22 liters of fuel.

MotoGP serves as a vital testing ground for TotalEnergies. Within this arena, not all teams utilize identical fuels. TotalEnergies Additives and Fuels Solutions steps in to create tailored fuels for these prototype motorcycles, ensuring peak performance.

In 2024, TotalEnergies Additives and Fuels Solutions will introduce a 40% renewable fuel that aligns with FIM Category 1 - 2024 regulations, continuing our commitment to sustainability without compromising on performance.
